I don't know who came up with the name Wopad but you have to give the design team credit for coming out with one of the first 7 inch capacitive touchscreen android tablets. Not only is it a capactive screen but it doesn't lack any of the other features that you are seeing on the better android tablets.
The best feature is the capacitive touchscreen that everyone has been waiting for in android tablets. Although the resistive screens found on most of the earlier models work well once you get used to them the newer screens make scrolling, ebook reading and websurfing much more enjoyable.

The Wopad runs on a Rockchip 2818 processor that is very stable and is clocked at a true 600 MHz and although it only supports 720p video, the combination of the rockchip processor and the firmware create great video quality which is very smooth. One nice thing that is refreshing about the Wopad is that its specs are true and it doesn't overclock the speed or overstate the video like some other manufacturers. It also supports wi fi and with the Android 2.1 OS it has access to the android market and all the applications.
It does come with 256 MB memory and the only drawback is that it is only expandable to 16 GB using a micro SD card. Although most of the other tablets are expandable to 32 GB, this has enough expandable memory for most applications and shouldn't be a big deal. As with most of the android tablets coming out today, it has a very responsive G sensor and also comes with both a mini and full USB port.
Combine the capacitive touchscreen with the other features, the Wopad WR 701 is the android tablet that everyone has been eagerly waiting for and has set the bar pretty high for the competition, especially when you consider that you can get the Wopad for under 0.
